Water flow indicator is a mirror type instrument valve, which is applicable to industrial production pipelines such as petroleum, chemical industry, chemical fiber, medicine, food, power plant and pump. It can observe the turbidity of liquid, gas, steam and other media at any time through the window and measure the reaction of medium flow speed. It is one of the indispensable pipeline accessories to ensure normal production and product quality.The water flow indicator can also be used in the automatic sprinkler system. It can be installed on the main water supply pipe or cross bar water pipe to give the electrical signal of water flow in a certain sub region and small area. This electrical signal can be sent to the electric control box, but it is usually not used as the control switch to start the fire pump.
The water flow indicator is installed on the spray pipe in a protected area to monitor the water flow action. In case of fire, the spray head will burst due to high temperature. At this time, the pipeline water will flow to the burst spray head, and the flowing hydraulic power will promote the action of the water flow indicator (also a rubber blade is placed in the pipe). The water flow indicator plays the role of water flow monitoring and does not link with other equipment.
